My fix for an "air rushing through" noise in the aic hose at idle
The larger hose on the right is the one that collapses at idle causing a noisy air sound.
I bought these two springs at the hardware store. They are the same diameter as the inside of the hose.
Then I streched the springs slightly and stuck them inside the hose.
I don't hear air noise!
I'm not positive this hose is a factory part on my car. So you may not have this collapsing hose problem. But if you do, this fix may help.
You probably wonder why I bought two springs instead of one.
I only bought two because I couldn't find one long enough.
I know you can't even hear this noise if you're sitting in the car.
I'm trying to post everything I fix on my car...big or small.
